Born in South Western France he moves to Paris to take a course at ESMOD, the prestigious fashion school. Fascinated by this world he decides to dedicate himself to fashion design and for the following years has various experiences as a designer of woman's, children's and knit wear. Later he discovers his passion for shoes and takes a footwear designing course at the AFPIC institute where he learns to construct as well as to design shoes. "During my long professional route I made many important encounters but the most wonderful was and remains the one with Karl and Giovanna who permitted me to liberate all my creativity allowing me in this way to give the best of myself.

On the other hand Thierry Rabotin is a person who does not accept compromise and his choices prove how right he is. The "sacchetto" shoes, using a working method in perfect equilibrium between artisan working procedures and technology, are among the most beautiful and original shoes that one can see and at the same time the most comfortable that one can wear.
